The Race Details...

50K anniversary fun run starts at 7:00 AM at the Nordic trail head.  We will run loops in the Nordic and have two aide stations about 5 miles apart.  We have rented the shelter along with a tent and some tables and chairs. You might want to bring along lawn chairs for comfort.  We will provide food and drinks. You are welcomed to bring food to pass, but not required.  Run or walk as much as you like or just come and join us in the celebration of 50 years.  We will start serving food about 12:00/ 1:00 PM time frame.
NO GIFTS ALLOWED.

Coming this Summer...

As unbelievable as it sounds, Tom & Lorraine will celebrate their 50th (!!!) wedding anniversary in early September - they were married on Labor Day weekend...  Of course, they were 6 and 7 years old at the time.

They will be hosting a picnic and (optional) 50k (duh...) FA fun run at the Nordic Trailhead on Saturday August 28th and would like everyone to put that date on their calendars now.  Of course, they chose that date so as not to conflict with Superior Sawtooth or other major races - so thoughtful!

More details will come as we get into the summer.

Name that run...?

It would be fun to come up with a clever name for the Bunk's Anniversary Run... I'm stuck on something to do with 50/50 because of 50 years and 50k... Although from looking at the picture on top, it could be the "Ma and Pa Kettle 50"!  There are enough half-wits out there to make at least a wit and a half... Let's hear your ideas!
